We use inline direct melt coating. The textile backing is preheated using infrared sensors and fed directly into the nip of the calendering rolls just as the TPU/TPE melt exits the T-die. This ensures that the molten polymer penetrates the surface fibers of the textile at a molecular level, resulting in peel strengths exceeding 80 N/5cm without using any liquid adhesives.
