Our standard 2200mm solar film extrusion lines require an installation space of approximately 35 meters in length, 6 meters in width, and 4.5 meters in height. The installed power capacity ranges from 380 kW to 550 kW, depending on the feed rate. For operation in industrial zones around Belgrade or Niš, Gwell provides transformers and active harmonic filters to ensure compliance with the Serbian electrical grid code.
EVA resin contains organic peroxides that initiate crosslinking at temperatures above 115°C. Gwell designs its screws with a low compression ratio, deep channels, and specialized barrier flights. This design minimizes internal friction and shear heat, keeping the melt temperature below 95°C. In addition, an integrated oil heating-cooling circuit provides precise control within each zone of the barrel (±1°C accuracy).
POE has a lower friction coefficient compared to EVA, making it prone to slippage on casting rollers. Gwell solves this issue by applying a micro-matte surface texture to the casting roller and incorporating an air-knife system. The air-knife secures the molten POE film against the roller surface as it exits the T-die, preventing edge necking and ensuring uniform cooling.
